Originally in Iran, their application under the special Afghan sponsorship measure faced multiple delays, including the inability to complete biometrics due to lack of a passport or visa.
After months of back-and-forth with IRCC, our team advised the family to take a bold step — to fully relocate to Pakistan. This was a significant risk, but one that paid off. Thanks to their resilience and determination, and the tireless efforts of our team, their application was successfully processed in Pakistan.

New Message from Mr. Numan Tarin on Recent Positive Developments for Afghan Refugees in Tajikistan
Amid the ongoing hardships faced by Afghan refugees in Tajikistan, there is finally some hopeful news. In May, eight families supported by Tarin Immigration Services were invited by IRCC for interviews in Dushanbe. All of them successfully completed their interviews and have now moved forward to biometrics and medical examinations.
Today, we received even more good news: two families whose cases were finalized in April have been informed that they will be flying out of Tajikistan to Canada in early July — a rare and positive outcome considering the high cost of travel during this time.

Yesterday, we successfully secured a win for our client, Mr. Hikmatullah Samady, in a highly unique and complex refugee claim before the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
Mr. Samady, an Afghan national, faced significant challenges in his journey to seek safety and protection. His case was unlike any other, requiring detailed maneuvering, in-depth legal strategies, and a thorough understanding of Canada’s refugee protection system. Through persistent efforts and careful navigation, we were able to present his case effectively, which led to a favorable outcome.

"Stopping the Deportation of an Afghan National and His Children"
Today, I had the privilege of standing by my client at a critical moment as we fought to stop the deportation of an Afghan national, who also holds Ecuadorian citizenship, and his three young children. The client, whose wife had unfortunately already been deported, was facing imminent removal from Canada. Despite the challenging circumstances, I am happy to share that we were able to prevent his and his children's deportation after a thorough interview with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at the airport.
Referred to me by Mr. Rod, this case required swift action and a strong defense of my client's rights. Their story is a reminder of the importance of ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families facing deportation are given every opportunity to have their voices heard.
I am immensely grateful to the CBSA officers for their professionalism throughout the process and their consideration of our arguments. While this is only one step in the journey for this family, it is a significant victory that brings hope in what has been a very difficult time.
